Dear Friend, Welcome to a la verga films - makers of irreverent, no-budget music videos, short films and feature length movies. a la verga films is decidedly not Hollywood. Our work is better, more creative and more true-to-life. While Hollywood is concerned only with making huge profits, a la verga films focuses on making meaningful art. All of our projects are shot using digital video, usually without a tripod or studio lighting. Sometimes even without a script. We don't waste two years making a movie nor do we spend millions of dollars doing it. Our maximum shooting schedule is ten days and our maximum budget per project would not feed a family of five for one week. But we make art. And while we may not please everyone, to those who are offended I say... a la verga! Please take a look around the web site to see what we are doing.
